Integrate CloudThinker Agents with your Slack

The CloudThinker Agent integrates seamlessly with Slack, enabling your intelligent AI agents to communicate directly with your team. With this integration, agents can:

• Send real-time alerts and updates

• Provide on-demand reports and insights

• Execute tasks triggered by simple Slack commands

This integration streamlines collaboration and boosts productivity by bringing the power of CloudThinker directly into your daily workflows.

What You'll need

Before you start, make sure you have:

• An active CloudThinker account with access to your desired agents.

• An active Slack Workspace where you have administrator or app management permissions.

• A basic understanding of your CloudThinker Agents' capabilities please refer to our previous blog on Build Your Own Agentic Team page.

Setting Up the Integration: A Quick Guide

1. Log into your CloudThinker dashboard.

2. Click on Integrations in the left sidebar under Manage.

3. Click Connect with Slack button.

4. Click Add to Slack button

• Where should CloudThinker post ?: You will be prompted to select a Slack channel where CloudThinker can post messages by default.

• Configure the Channel: Choose the specific Slack channel that CloudThinker will use to send notifications and real-time alarms. This is crucial for ensuring all critical updates arrive in a designated and monitored location.

1. Complete the Authorization: Slack will prompt you to review and approve CloudThinker's access to your workspace and the channel you've selected.

2. Configure Your Agent and Workspace:

• Navigate to the Home tab of the CloudThinker app within Slack.

• From there, you can configure your agent and select your desired workspace to complete the setup.
